Photo Guidelines

The best photos are clear, bright, close-up, and taken at your pet’s eye level. Try to show your pet’s ears, face, markings, neck, and chest. Avoid blurry images, dark lighting, heavy filters, overhead angles, and photos where important features are cropped out.

A plain background is helpful, but it is not always required. The most important thing is that your pet is clear, well lit, and fully visible. Background clutter usually matters less than image sharpness and accurate pet detail.

If you submit a black-and-white photo, the finished artwork may also be black and white. Wilson And Milo cannot guarantee accurate colour restoration unless that service is specifically offered on the product page.

Minor cleanups may be possible, but major changes are not always available. We may not be able to add missing ears, change your pet’s expression, create details that are not visible, or make a blurry image look like a high-resolution photo.

If your photo is not suitable for a high-quality portrait, Wilson And Milo may contact you for a replacement image before production continues. Providing a strong photo from the start helps avoid delays.

Proofs, Changes & Revisions

If artwork previews are included with your selected Wilson And Milo product, you will receive a proof by email or through your customer account before printing. You can then approve the artwork or request eligible edits within the review window.

Please contact Wilson And Milo as soon as possible if you need to change your order. Because custom artwork can begin quickly, changes to the photo, pet name, size, shipping address, or product selection may only be possible during a short change window.
